Bhikkhu Abhinando was born in Hamburg in 1966. He became a Buddhist monk in the Theravada tradition at Chithurst Buddhist Monastery with Ajahn Sumedho as preceptor in 1994. At the moment he lives at Aruna Ratanagiri Monastery at Harnham, Northumberland, in the north of England.
His first collection of poetry Quando Tutto è Detto (Wenn Alles Gesagt Ist; Italian/German) was published by Vivarium, Milano in 2007. A German/English version (When Everything is Said) is available for free distribution from Aruna Publications and can be downloaded as a pdf from the book page of this website.
